Try This Blah to Brilliant Thrift Store Lamp Makeover

Lamps are expensive—forget paying full retail when you want to freshen up your décor! Hit the thrift store instead. If you can find a lamp that’s about the size you want for under $10, you should scoop it up, even if you don’t love it. Because here’s how to love it: Paint the shade a bold stripe, spray the base in of-the-moment copper, and suddenly it’s transformed into the fabulous lamp you almost spent $100 on at the store. Well aren’t you smart?

This will always be my favorite picture of my mom, because it displays the sheer joy in her face as she reaches for her favorite present-- a roll of twenties. Happy Mother's Day, Terri. You really are the best! ❤️❤️❤️ (And Happy Mother's Day to anyone else reading this, if it applies. And if it doesn't, have a fabulous Sunday!)
