6 Ways to Wear Orange

Orange you glad this color’s in this season? Call it what you like—pumpkin, paprika, tigerlily—but orange by any other name can be a tough color to wear without looking like a Jack-o-Lantern. We took a trip to the Etsy offices in Dumbo, Brooklyn—hey, they’re creative, and their logo is orange!—and challenged a few staffers there to don the tricky hue so that we could learn from them.   • Wholesale program manager Rachel spiced hers up with a crazy contrast: electric blue. Other out-there options: fuchsia and lime.
  • PR senior specialist Dayna did a tone-on-tone take, with shoes in a deeper version of the same hue.
  • Merchandising specialist Nicole incorporated her orange in little, all-over doses with the bird pattern in her vintage dress.
  • Counsel Hissan paired his plaid with classic, rich neutrals—how apropos for the in-house lawyer!
