Give Your Tequila a Fruity Twist With This Mango Margarita Recipe

Between entertaining at home and The Chew, I have made many a margarita in my day. Well this one's a personal favorite: The mango gives the drink a little more substance and tastes totally tropical. Plus, all cocktails are just a little better for you when you add fruit. Clinton Kelly Frozen Mango Margarita

Clinton Kelly's Frozen Mango Margarita

  • ½ c frozen mango chunks
  • ¼ c ice
  • 2 oz white tequila
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • kosher salt

Combine the mango, ice, tequila and lemon juice in a blender and blend until smooth. Moisten the rim of a margarita glass with the lemon and rim in a dish of kosher salt. Pour in margarita and enjoy.


This will always be my favorite picture of my mom, because it displays the sheer joy in her face as she reaches for her favorite present-- a roll of twenties. Happy Mother's Day, Terri.
