Clinton Kelly Slow Cooker Cinnamon Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. bone-in chicken thighs, skin removed
  • 1-2 jars marinara sauce
  • 1 can olives, drained
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • rice
  • soy sauce (optional)
  • parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions

  • Place chicken thighs in slow cooker. Add enough marinara sauce to cover.
  • Add olives and sprinkle in cinnamon. Stir to combine, cook on low setting for 8 hours.
  • Remove bones with tongs and discard. Stir to break up chicken.
  • Cook rice according to package directions.
  • Serve chicken mixture over rice, adding soy sauce to taste, if desired. Garnish with parsley if you feel fancy.
