The Kelly by Clinton Kelly: A Sparkling Cocktail

Raspberry is one of my favorite colors: you'll find it in my spring Kelly by Clinton Kelly collection for QVC and here—in this cocktail I created to celebrate the line. It’s elegant, effervescent and strong—just like my fashion muse Grace Kelly. I know she would have loved this pink drink, and you will too! Sip one wearing a pair of my Pull-on Knit Pants. Grace would approve.

Kelly by Clinton Kelly Cocktail

Kelly by Clinton Kelly Cocktail

  • 1 oz elderflower liqueur
  • 1 oz raspberry puree (see below)
  • chilled rose champagne, to fill glass (plain sparkling wine or prosecco works, too)

Combine the elderflower liqueuer and raspberry puree in a champagne flute, and carefully stir together. Top with champagne and enjoy.

Raspberry Puree

  • 1 pint fresh raspberries or 1 c frozen raspberries, thawed
  • ⅓ c simple syrup

Puree until completely smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds.


This will always be my favorite picture of my mom, because it displays the sheer joy in her face as she reaches for her favorite present-- a roll of twenties. Happy Mother's Day, Terri.
