You Won’t Believe these Boozy Sangria-Inspired Popsicles are Made from Ingredients at the Grocery Store

It’s getting hot-hot-hot! Ice-cold popsicles are summer’s sweetest indulgence, but why let the kids have all the fun? We make our popsicles like our sangria—fruity and boozy—using white Moscato wine (sounds fancy, but it’s widely available in grocery stores!) and honeydew melon. Let the cooling-off commence!

Boozy Sangria Popsicles

Melon Moscato Popsicles

Ingredients

  • 3 c cubed honeydew melon
  • 1½ c Moscato or other sweet white wine
  • juice of 1 lime
  • popsicle molds (like these) & sticks, if not included

Directions

  • Combine the honeydew, moscato, and lime juice in a blender and blend until completely pureed. Pour through a strainer and divide among the popsicle molds.
  • Insert sticks and freeze completely (overnight or up to 12 hours). Makes approximately 12 popsicles.

Mary would like to thank the lovely, generous people who gave me stuffed toys for her while I was on book tour. As you can see, she thoroughly enjoyed them last night when I returned home. Would you mind coming over this morning to clean up their guts, which have been strewn in every nook and cranny of our apartment. Thanks! 😘
