For Touch-Me-Everywhere Skin…

Slather yourself with butter and oil, plus your favorite scents, for a rich moisturizer.

  • 1 ½ cups raw shea butter
  • ½ cup liquid coconut oil
  • 10-20 drops of essential oil(s) (like lavender, lemon, cinnamon, peppermint, orange, and rosemary)

Melt the butter and oil together in a double boiler. Stir in the essential oils, then let cool partially (throw into the fridge to speed the process). Whip with a mixer until rich and fluffy. Store in a jar with a lid.

For Kiss-Me-Now Lips…

Gently scrub your lips with this sugar mixture to make them extra-soft.

  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • ¼ tsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • Essential oils (if desired – mint, vanilla, rose, etc)

Mix together sugar, oil and honey; add a few drops of essential oils, if desired. Apply to lips and scrub gently for a minute or so, then rinse off.

For Indulge-Your-Fetish Feet…

Slough off rough spots with citrus and you’ll be playing footsie in no time.

  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 1cup sugar
  • juice from 2 lemons (limes or grapefruit work, too!)

Heat up the coconut oil in the microwave until it liquifies. Add the sugar and lemon juice and stir to combine. Let cool, then rub vigorously over rough spots; rinse off.

For a Get-In-The-Mood Body Soak…

Enhance old-standby Epsom salts with a few indulgent scents for a tub that soothes the muscles—and the mind.

  • 2 cups Epsom salts
  • ½ cup finely ground oats or milk powder
  • 2 tbsp sunflower or grapeseed oil
  • 10-20 drops of essential oils (like lavender, lemon, mint, eucalyptus, and rosemary; or a combo of these)

Mix ingredients together to combine. Add a half to full cup of the mixture to the tub as you start to fill it; soak to enjoy. For an extra indulgence, close the door and fill the tub by turning on the shower to its hottest for a few minutes, then adding cool water from the tap to get it to a comfortable temperature. The bathroom will feel nice and steamy!

For a Look-At-My Face: Face Mask…

Soak up the benefits of these good-for-you foods for glowing skin. And you can snack on any extra!

  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 banana
  • ¼ cup honey
  • olive oil

Combine all the ingredients in a food processor, adding olive oil little by little to smooth out consistency. Spread over face and let sit for 10-20 minutes, then rinse off.

P.S. Light a scented candle for ultimate relaxation—here’s how to DIY that, too!

#fbf to 1994 (ish) with my buds, @richardwiese and @wendirogerstv Bought that sport coat on sale for about 20 bucks because that’s all I had in the bank. Was 10% wool and 90% “other.” Got caught in the rain with it and smelled like wet dog ass all night.

Nine years ago, I made a vow to live my life based on three guiding principles: Love, Awe and Gratitude. Today, instead of feeling sad, angry or anxious about The Chew’s cancellation, I will look through the lens of Gratitude and thank: My cohosts, @chefsymon and @carlaphall, for being two of the greatest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. The crew and staff of The Chew for being so dedicated, hardworking and collaborative. Our viewers for allowing us into your homes each day to share a laugh and a recipe — and a cocktail. It’s been a fun run and I am so freakin’ lucky to have been a part of it. Much love, CK ❤️
